How I Get Over 100,000 Visitors a Month With Top Articles

August 24, 2018 0

Traffic to me is the simplest thing on the planet. It is so easy to get! All you have to do is provide people with a solution to their problem and they will come and read it & they will share it with their friends!
I have created over 100 ‘top list’ type posts which have been viewed by millions. They are so popular and well received that they have been featured on Reddit Homepage, New York Times, Yahoo News & one even became a Trending Topic on Twitter! The best part… I can get these types of posts created for just $25. Let me teach you how.

Why Creating Lists Will Drastically Increase Your Traffic

When you Google, think what you are typing in, lets say you are looking for a cure for a health problem. Just for example, you are going to type in Cure Acid Reflux. That’s a big search term. Same with anything else in the industry that people are trying to cure. Firstly you would be surprised how many people don’t name the article what people are searching for in Google. This blows my mind. Why are you calling your article something fancy and using words people don’t ever use, just to make yourself look smart. No one is typing that in Google, so you shouldn’t be naming your posts that.
I’m no SEO expert, there I said it. But I do get around 200,000 visitors a month from Google alone so it’s kind of a big deal for me. Here’s what I believe: Google ranks sites which are naturally awesome. Forget everything about buying links and social love. Just imagine that your posts are so cool, people spend ages on your site and people love to share your stuff. That’s what GOOGLE wants! Great content because they are in the content industry. There job is to provide users with the right content and the best possible option, if yours is not that, then you don’t rank so well.
Back to my health post, I will call it :
10 Ways To Cure Acid Reflux
Somewhere I heard that odd numbers work better for open rates and marketing so I often will change the 10 for 7, 11, 13, 17 basically any odd number that looks good. I will decide how many I want before I even create the post.
But lets look at those silly people I love that make my life easy when I try to out rank their articles because they name their articles something stupid, for example:
Surefire Ways To Eradicate Acid Reflux
Are you freaking kidding me. I’m sure some idiot will type in Eradicate Acid Reflux every month or two but Surefire Ways? No Way!
You think this is an extreme example? Heck no, this is a nice example.

Tip 1. Name Your Posts Something People Search For!

Here’s where top lists dominate:
  • Firstly, they are quite long so people tend to spend a while reading them.
  • Each part is in section, for example, our Cure Acid Reflux post, its 7 cures, so we have 7 headlines with each option. Because of this, people can quickly decide YES, there’s something here I am willing to do, so I will read it all. I think a lot of articles don’t do well because people are not prepared to commit time to read a page if they don’t think it’s going to help them.
  • The title says exactly what you get, so you know what you are getting into.
  • When shared on social media, again, people know what they are about to get. I swear, people will retweet and share stuff just because of the title, not even knowing if the article is good or not.

Step 1. To Dominating Any Industry

Post a crap load of top posts. That’s what I do, I show up in dozens of industry’s and just do the same old top list posts but for different industry’s. Here’s some examples:
Blogging/Make Money Industry
  • Top 30 Most Influential People In Blogger
  • 10 Reasons Why It Rocks To Be a Internet Entrepreneur
  • 10 Christmas Gifts For Entrepreneurs
  • 17 Tips To Cure Bloggers Block
  • 20 Bloggers To Follow on Facebook
Photography Industry
  • Top 30 Most Influential People In Photography
  • 10 Reasons Why It Rocks To be a Photographer
  • 10 Christmas Gifts For Photographers
  • 17 Tips To Fix Bad Photos
  • 20 Photographers To Follow on Facebook
Health Industry
  • Top 30 Most Influential People in Natural Health
  • 10 Reasons Why It Rocks To Be Healthy
  • 10 Christmas Gifts for Super Healthy People
  • 17 Tips To Cure Acid Reflux
  • 20 Health Experts To Follow on Facebook
Young Entrepreneur Industry
  • Top 30 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs
  • 10 Reasons Why It Rocks To Be a Young Entrepreneur
  • 10 Christmas Gifts For Young Entrepreneurs
  • 17 Tips To Stop People Treating You Different Because Of Your Age
  • 20 Young Entrepreneurs To Follow On Facebook
Are you getting the gist yet?
And it doesn’t stop there. Each post can be done in so many other ways. For example:
10 Reasons Why It Rocks To Be a Photographer… you could flip this on it’s head and do 10 Reasons Why It Sucks….

Tip 2. Turn One Top List Into a Series of Top Lists

Remember our post suggestion: 20 Bloggers To Follow on Facebook
How about doing that with every social network:
  • 20 Bloggers To Follow on Twitter
  • 20 Bloggers To Follow on Youtube
  • 20 Bloggers To Follow on Pinterest
  • 20 Bloggers To Follow on Google+
Instead of doing a post such as “20 Ways To Improve Your Website” – you could split it into a series and niche each one down, so for example:
  • 10 Ways To Improve Your Websites Load Time
  • 10 Ways To Improve Your Websites Usability
  • 10 Ways To Improve Your Websites Blog Layout
  • 10 Ways To Improve your Websites Conversion Rate

Step 2. Getting Articles Created (20 at a time)

So in order to achieve great success with my blogs, I need a crap load of content…. by doing basically no actual work. Want to know how I get articles written for $25 with a 24 hour turn around period, 20 at a time.
Just to confirm. I pay $25 for each article, I often buy 20 at a time and each article only takes 24 hours and can be written by thousands of different authors. The best thing is, if I don’t like it, I either get them to edit it or I can refuse to pay for it. Incredible?!?!!

How to make Bootable USB.

July 28, 2018 0
Step1: Create Bootable USB Drive
  1. Start PowerISO (v6.5 or newer version, download here).
  2. Insert the USB drive you intend to boot from.
  3. Choose the menu "Tools > Create Bootable USB Drive". The "Create Bootable USB Drive" dialog will popup. If you are using Windows Vista or above operating system, you need confirm the UAC dialog to continue.

  4. In "Create Bootable USB Drive" dialog, click "..." button to open the iso file of Windows operating system.
  5. Select the correct USB drive from the "Destination USB Drive" list if multiple USB drives are connected to the computer.
  6. Choose the proper writing method. "USB-HDD" is recommended.
  7. Click "Start" button to start creating bootable USB drive.
  8. PowerISO will alert you that all data on USB drive will be destroyed. Click "OK" to continue.

The program will start writing USB drive, and showing the progress information. You should get the message "Writing USB drive completed successfully." after the operation completes.

If no errors occurred in the above process, you should now be all set to setup Windows from USB drive!

Step 2: Configuring the BIOS
You should now reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to boot from USB. Instructions for doing so wildly from system to system, but generally entail the following:
  1. Reboot the system.
  2. While booting (before Windows starts loading), get into the BIOS configuration screen by hitting something like F1, F2, Delete or Escape. Hotkey instructions are generally provided on the screen.
  3. Go to the section that contains your boot devices.
  4. With your USB drive plugged in, the USB drive should be listed. If it isn’t, your system might not support booting from USB. Assuming that it is supported (as is the case with virtually all modern hardware), promote your USB drive to the primary boot device.
  5. Exit from the BIOS configuration, saving all changes.
Please notice that you can seriously screw up your system by providing incorrect BIOS settings!

Step 3: Booting and setup windows from USB drive
Assuming that you properly configured your BIOS and your USB drive supports booting,  Windows setup should now load. Depending on the speed of your USB drive, this may take a while.
If it isn’t working, then double-check the following before making a scene:
  • Is your BIOS properly configured for booting from the USB device? (Is the USB device listed and does it have top priority?)
  • Have you correctly prepared the USB drive in step one? (Restart the procedure.)
  • Does your USB drive properly support being booted from? (Try another one!)

11 Affiliate Marketing Mistakes You Must Not Make

July 17, 2018 0

Affiliate marketing is a very lucrative online business. It’s one of the ways folks make money online without ever going through product creation and all that it involves.
All you do is identify a product, sign up to its affiliate program, promote it, generate sales and get paid commissions.

Affiliate Marketing Sounds Easy?

Up to a point… however it relies on one simple but essential factor – Traffic!
If you can’t drive targeted traffic you are going nowhere!
No point in sending a Fitness Offer to people who signed up to a blog about Knitting & Crochet and vice versa.
Likewise if you Buy Traffic (pay per click or Facebook advertising) you need to know your audience and what motivates them!
Back in 2012 in Affiliate Summit’s AffStat Report affiliates where asked how they typically drive traffic to their website…
Affiliate Marketing
In 2012 at least 60% of affiliates are using “blogging” as their primary method of “driving traffic” to their website.
But Affiliate Marketing has changed!
Sure, blogging still works and you should use it – but these days it requires a more sophisticated approach, better research and above all better writing!
affiliate marketing

11 Reasons Why Many Bloggers Fail at Affiliate Marketing

The truth is most bloggers fail miserably at Affiliate Marketing.

1) Many bloggers think they know Affiliate marketing already

This is one of the craziest reasons bloggers fail at making money with affiliate marketing. Once you think you ALREADY know something, you completely eliminate your chances to acquire new knowledge.
I know the Internet is full of free offers on Affiliate Marketing but many of these are obsolete. (written in 2012 or earlier!) Those things that worked some years ago absolutely have no impact in today’s world of content marketing.
I clearly remember my early days when Article Marketing on ezinearticles and web 2.0 properties like squidoo used to flourish. We worked with article spinning tools, stuffed articles with keyword, got links from spam sites, etc and all that worked for a while. But times have changed.
In order to survive in today’s online marketing world, we have to be opened to new things and adapt to changes through learning. Seek out the best training you can find, ask for recommendations and BUY it!
At this stage in a post you might quite rightly expect to see a recommendation for an Affiliate Marketingproduct – but we are not doing that here because as we said, products and techniques change regularly and what we recommend today may not be appropriate a year from now. We will however recommend a Facebook Group that everyone should join if you are serious about Internet Marketing – Internet Marketing Super Friends. It is not just about affiliate marketing, there is lots of tips on everything to do with Internet Marketing and a real wealth of talent regularly posts.
learn affiliate marketing
Successful blogger and affiliates are always learning – they never assume they know it all!

2) They promote products just for the money

This is the Ugly Side of affiliate marketing – promoting any product just for the commissions is unethical. For starters try every product you promote out yourself and ask yourself, would I buy this?
Now assuming you have found a product you want to support, how can you be confident that your readership will want to know about it?
For starters, from publishing articles on your blog you can do some useful market research.
=> Try to identify the articles on your blog with the highest number of social shares.
=> Identify the articles with the highest number of comments.
=> Identify the articles that are most linked to.
=> Identify the articles that drive the most clicks from search engines.
And of course, you can also find out what your readers need most by running a survey on your blog.
the Ugly Side of affiliate marketing – promoting any product just for the commissions is unethical.
The more relevant the product you promote, the more your chances of generating sales and commissions.

3 – They don’t invest in required tools

There is no business you can successfully do online without investing in the right tools. For bloggers who want to succeed in affiliate marketing, there are a couple of tools you must get in order to positively affect your sales. Some of these tools include;
=> Premium web hosting for fast speed
=> Professional fast loading theme
=> Premium product review plugins that support user-generated reviews
=> Popup Domination
=> SEO tools – for example Plugins like Yoast
And very importantly…
They don’t keep up to-date with changes in the marketplace. Technology, SEO and Social Media are changing all the time – please accept that what works now, may work differently 6 months from now.

4) They have no knowledge about the products they promote

This one is a close relation of promoting a product just for the money! How can you ever sell anything effectively without knowing the product. Would you buy a car from a salesperson who did not own a car?
As an affiliate marketer, the best affiliate sales I have ever made have come from a product I use myself. This is the best way to position you to make more money from an affiliate product.
If you promote a product you are using, you are going to promote it from the stand point of a happy user. You will be able to demonstrate how it’s helped you out. Remember readers love ‘stories‘ and the story of how you found and fell in love with this product is one of the strongest persuasion strategies. (But remember it only works if it is authentic and genuine – I strongly discourage ‘made up’ stories.)
One More Tip:
Most product creators will produce a sales letter – professionally written by a skilled copywriter but remember, people buy from people, so I encourage to add your own introduction (video is good) when promoting a product. Just saying ‘check this out’ rarely works – give people a reason why they should check this out!

5) They just do what others do

If you want to make extra sales, you have to distinguish yourself from other affiliates.
So many affiliates just do a Copy and Paste – don’t do that! Be an innovator – come up with an angle others have not.
Have you spotted a benefit that others have not? It might even only be a benefit for you and a few others, but add that benefit and chances someone else will see that as a benefit also.
Additionally – and this is very important, add your own STORY as to why you got involved with this product…
I recently read the success story of one mother who started online simply to make enough to pay for horse riding lessons for her daughter. This was of course targeting the Newbie Marketer and it also had that all important ‘feel good’ feeling.
Other things you can do…
For instance;
=> Add a special bonus for your readers
=> Offer a special discount code from product author
=> Get co-branded sales page from author
Successful Affiliates are innovators – always be looking to add value to the offer, in terms of either a special bonus or better still in my opinion – reveal an angle or a strategy that no one else is talking about…
Affliate Marketing - Innovation is change that unlocks new value

6) They lack strategies that work

Now, this point is closely related to point 5 above. If you use your brain as an affiliate blogger, you can always come up with promotion strategies that others don’t have. Most affiliate marketing platforms today allow vendors to generate special coupon codes for their affiliates. The best part is that most vendors are ready any time to get a unique code for you. With this in mind, you can always negotiate special deals for your readers.
One of the things I did in the past that generated some crazy sales is that I arranged a product-focused interview with a vendor on my blog. This enabled me to phrase questions that triggered appropriate answers to provoke more sales. You must always think of such new strategies and do things differently on order to make more affiliate sales.

7) They do feature-based reviews

Buyers want to know – WIIFM = What’s In It For Me?
Yet so many product reviews concentrate on the FEATURES rather than the BENEFITS.
As Theodore Levitt said “People don’t want to buy a quarter-inch drill. They want to buy a quarter-inch hole!”
And for those of us old enough to remember – Mr Levitt also said: “Kodak sells film, but they don’t advertise film; they advertise memories”
Get it?
Don’t concentrate on the features – focus on the benefits!
Remember…

Features Tell, Benefits Sell

The raison d’être of any affiliate product you promote should be to solve a problem. If that problem solving capacity is not underlined in the review, you are missing the point of the product!

8) They completely neglect SEO

For most bloggers, without huge budgets, SEO is the single best source of targeted traffic. Yes, Social Media also works, but my experience is that SEO brings the most targeted traffic.
How to not neglect SEO?
=> Do keyword research before doing an affiliate product review
=> Target the right buying or problem solving keyword in your review posts
=> Do proper OnPage SEO on your product review posts
=> Promote product review post on social media to generate likes, tweets, and shares.
=> Create backlinks to product review posts
=> Check out the best SEO Tools
The more traffic from search engines you get to your review posts, the more the sales you are able to generate.
Remember SEO changes all the time – it is no longer about trying to fool search engines, (Black Hat) rather it is about working with search engines to provide information in the best possible format. On this subject make sure to check out Schema.org for a set of extensible schemas that enables webmasters to embed structured data on their web pages for use by search engines. This is the new SEO!

9) They don’t promote products with recurring payments (and commissions)

Put simply when promoting products you have a choice of promoting a One Time Payment product or a product that requires a recurring payment (Software or membership usually). Of course you will have a mixture of both but whenever possible I like promoting recurring payments that pay me commissions for the life time of the recurring payment. Payments are usually monthly but sometimes quarterly or yearly renewal options pay out also.
To earn recurring permissions…
Identify membership sites in your niche that have affiliate programs and focus on promoting them to your audience. In addition there are software and hosting companies who pay out recurring commissions.

10) They don’t have a targeted list

One of the mistakes I committed in my early days of blogging was that I started my blog without building a list.
It’s generally said “the money is in the list” and and that’s true to an extent. But if your list is poorly built, you are never going to see any money from it.
Something not so frequently mentioned is:

Not All Subscribers are Equal

Some subscribers just because of how they found you are more likely to buy than others…
In other words, quality usually beats quantity. I have seen bloggers be tempted to buy or rent lists but it should be avoided. I could go into great detail about why you should avoid – but HubSpot have a pretty good blog post on it.
A targeted list of 1000 subscribers is better than a mix-up of 10000 subscribers. If you want more subscribers and more targeted traffic write posts directly related to your visitors problems – which demonstrate your knowledge and experience. Then when you have a product that solves those problems you have targeted subscribers who are more likely to convert to sales.

11) They don’t focus on Content and Targeted traffic

To succeed in Affiliate Marketing you need:
=> Quality content
=> Targeted Traffic
As a blogger and an affiliate marketer this matters more than anything else.
Yet, so many bloggers concentrate on things like design and the colors and size of fonts when really their priorities should be quality content and relevant search engine traffic.
There is no point in having the best theme and being hosted on the must robust server on planet earth, if you don’t have content that attracts readers who then subscribe to your list.

The Advantages Of A Projector

June 03, 2018 1
Nowadays, the technology can provide us with much benefits and ease. Back to the old times, TVs came in black and white color and were huge. But recently, we are now using LCD Television sets that are very thin and are very good options for those who have space limits inside their house instead of having a bulky television. And, for those people who have some spare cash, they prefer to buy projectors because they see it more attractive when they watch movies using it.
If you feel like unwinding, reading articles like https://newyorkessays.com/essay-manage-health-and-social-care-practice-to-ensure-positive-outcomes-for-individuals/ or watching a film together with your loved ones, it would be excellent if you can use a projector. With the use of a projector, you might feel as if you are watching movies in film theatres or big cinemas. Not only that, every details and effects can be seen in the movie can be very clear to the eye. And, what’s good about this projector is that you can take it anywhere you go. For example, if you like to loosen up outdoors during night times, you can just spend time at your garden, prepare the tent, set up the screen or a white fabric right in the wall of your house, and then, turn on the projector and watch movies as long as you want. Isn’t that an excellent idea, right?
projector use
Aside from that, a projector is also commonly used in offices. During business presentations and discussion, having a projector is very necessary. It allows everyone in the room to view the presentation or the topic of the discussion. Even in classrooms, having a projector is very beneficial. A lot of schools these days use a projector during panel discussions and project presentations. This allows the topic being discussed to be seen clearer by other students and panelists. It is a good visual aid for the ones who are presenting their topics.
Certainly, be sure that the projector you own is of high quality. These days, there are various quality projectors being put in sale in the market. Be aware that some well-known brands are: Epson, Viewsonic, Casio, Sharp, Sony, and the Optoma. A lot of projector traders sell these different brands of projector. You can surf online for you to find sites that offer this type of product at a discounted price. They can also provide you money return guarantee in which the company can give you back the money you have paid for the unit if you are not satisfied with it.
The continuous innovation of varied gadgets and electrical devices offer us great comfort and benefits. Like TVs, old projector models are also huge and a little costly. Now, they are very usable and they can produce clear and quality outputs that really add up to the visual effects of whatever picture projected. Thus, if you want to make use of your spare time and enjoy it, use a projector in watching your favorite movies. Definitely, you can experience comfort in your own place just like you are watching a movie at a movie house.

5 Different Ways To Get Email Subscribers – What Converted Best?

We have been building email lists for over 11 years now. It’s not only one of my favorite ways to make money online, but it’s also a great way to drive traffic instantly to your site. Today I want to share with you our best tips to get email subscribers.
Over the years, we have had 100,000’s of people sign up for our mailing list, so today I thought it would be a good idea to share with you what works best when trying to get email subscribers.
You ask any top marketer, what is their most important marketing tool, they will tell you it’s email.
Why?
Because nothing is as consistent as email marketing.
With the click of a button, you can instantly send an email to a group of people with your offer. You don’t have to wait for them to come to you. They have already shown interest and want you to email them.
Take a look over the last 10 years.
Google Adsense was the go to way to make money from a website. You could earn over a $1 a click. Some people made as much as $25 a click. It was brilliant. People coming to your website didn’t even know what the ads looked like and would click them all day long.
As time went on, more websites used it, with more people offering clicks, the earnings per click went down. Web users learned what ads looked like and stopped clicking them as much. Google’s terms got more strict. Eventually website owners started looking for something new to make them money.
Then came Text-Link-Ads.
Website owners used this site to sell text links on their site.
A large part of Google’s ranking algorithm is based on how many quality links you have pointing to your website. This meant big companies were happy to pay a premium to get links, to push up their search engine rankings, getting them more traffic and making them more money.
You could add 10 links to your sidebar and make $1000/month.
Even sites with low traffic could charge a lot for links because people weren’t buying links based on traffic, but how much Google liked their site.
Google hated this.
Google wants to show users the best possible match for their search. Not those who cheat the system.
As time went on, Google started punishing sites who bought and sold links. Quickly the price of links dropped and everyone was left looking for a new way to make money.
When Twitter came along, website owners could sell promotional Tweets to their followers. Over time, quite quickly in fact, Twitter became to busy, there was to many people competing for attention, Tweets started to perform less and thus, people stopped buying Tweets.
There are dozens of examples of monetization techniques making people rich, but over time… stopped working.
Email marketing has remained consistent. That’s why top marketers focus on their list above all else.
Even if email dies one day… marketers will still focus on their lists. Before email, marketers would send letters in the post. After email, who knows how they will contact their list, but there will be a way and it will continue to perform.
That’s why you should focus on your list.

What Works Best To Get Email Subscribers From a Blog

Over the last 11 years, we have tried and tested dozens of different techniques to build our list.
We wanted to know what are the best ways and in what order do they perform.
So over the last two weeks, we tested the 5 most popular ways to show signup forms on a website.
They are:
  • The top of the homepage
  • Bottom of posts
  • Sidebar
  • Squeeze page’s
  • PopUp’s
Below is a breakdown of how well they did.
Before you continue, take a minute to think, in what order do you think they came?

The Results

ID Stats AWeber
Total new subscribers: 4382
  1. PopUp Domination brought in 2,803 new subscribers – 63.9%
  2. Footer Signup brought in 774 new subscribers – 17.6%
  3. Homepage Signup brought in 309 new subscribers – 7%
  4. Squeeze Page brought in 296 new subscribers – 6.7%
  5. Sidebar Signup brought in 200 new subscribers – 4.5%
All 5 techniques were active at the same time, competing against each other.
It’s worth mentioning that all of our traffic for this test is from free traffic sources, interested in a wide range of subjects. (which explains our low conversion rate)
Continue below to see a breakdown of why they performed the way they did.

Getting Email Subscribers From a Homepage Header Box

We first added an opt-in box to our homepage back in 2007.
In 2009 we decided to try something bigger, we added a full width opt-in box right under our header.
Overnight we saw a huge increase in new subscribers.
At the time, hardly anyone was displaying opt-in boxes like this. Now you see them everywhere and for good reason.
Most people who visit your homepage will come from other pages on your website. They come to your homepage because they have seen something that has made them interested enough in you that they wanted to stay and look around. Because of this, your homepage is one of the highest converting pages on your website.

Getting Email Subscribers With Below Blog Post Opt-in Boxes

Get Email Subscribers From Footer Opt-in Boxes
Having a subscription box below blog posts is a good idea because visitors have just read your post. Your post has just sold them on who you are and the value you can deliver.
Placement is everything. The difference between putting this box at the bottom of the page and the bottom of a post can be as much as 500%.

Getting Email Subscribers From Sidebar Signup Forms

Get Email Subscribers From Sidebar Opt-ins
The sidebar is probably the most common place you will see an opt-in box.
It’s also the lowest converting signup form on our site.
Why is this?
Could it be because you have less space to promote your offer?
Is it because people are use to seeing it and switch off?
Or perhaps it’s because all the other techniques grab their attention first.
It performed so badly for us that we have decided to delete our sidebar signup. It isn’t worth it. It takes up a lot of space that could be better used to direct people to more content. The more content users see, the more opt-ins we get and the more sales we make.

Getting Email Subscribers From Squeeze Pages

Every website needs a squeeze page.
It’s a page that’s soul purpose is to promote your email list.
You can link to it in posts, emails, adverts. Subscribers can use this link to tell their friends how good your emails are and to go here to sign up.
Often, I will be writing something and want to reference my mailing list. It’s a lot easier to link to your squeeze page then to tell a reader the location on a page to go to and sign up.
Use Optimizepress to create high converting squeeze pages effortlessly.

Getting Email Subscribers From PopUps

The almighty popup. Just 7 years ago it was rare to see one. In 2017, they are used by the majority of websites.
I’m sorry.
A big reason for that is because of us.
Five years ago, I was having a conversation with a guy at an event about how his site was using them to get email subscribers. It was by far the most powerful tool he was using to skyrocket his mailing list.
I wanted in.
I searched for an easy way to add a popup opt-in box to my website. The best I could find was a simple white box which would only allow me to edit the text.
But I wanted a popup that looked and converted great!
So as soon as I got back from the marketing event I spoke with my designer and asked him to make me one.
Overnight our email subscribers jumped by over 507%.
OVERNIGHT.
Never have I seen something blow up so quickly.
I was now getting as many new subscribers as the big guys in my industry but with a fraction of the traffic.
On a call the next day, I told my designer about the results. I dropped the suggestion that it could be a good idea to go into business together and build a WordPress plugin so that other websites could easily add a popup to their site. He would supply his web development team and I would bring my marketing skills.
I did for a brief moment think to myself, perhaps it’s not a good idea to release this because it works so well. Perhaps I should keep this to myself, my secret edge. But I knew it would be big and if I didn’t do it eventually someone else would.
We worked round the clock for 11 days to build the first version. A time frame we gave ourselves because we were concerned that another marketer was working on a similar project. In the end, they were working on something else.
In our first week, we sold over 500 copies.
At the time, a lot of top bloggers spoke publicly about how they didn’t like it and were against us. Now they all have popups on their sites.
Over the years that followed we have invested 1000’s of hours on development.
Today, over 60,000 websites are actively using our software.
What you need to know about PopUps
It’s the No. 1 way to build your list, by far!
Why?
Because it’s kinda hard to miss.
You see it before any other signup form.
So how can you get your own and what’s important?
Go to PopUpDomination.com and signup for our FREE 14 day trial.
As for tips for getting the most out of your popup:
Test everything.
Try different popup designs, colours, copy and promotional images. Split test something new every week to increase conversions.
Display different popups based on category. If you have one popup, not every reader will be interested in what you have to offer. Setup different offers for each category to put your email marketing on steroids.
Display settings matter. Work out how often to display your popups and after how many pageviews/seconds on page.
